Investigation of a serious tram incident at Storo in Oslo.

On Saturday 3 July 2021, two trams collided at Storokrysset junction in Oslo.

Tram 132 of the type SL79/II was en route from Disen towards Majorstuen via Grünerløkka. The points at Storo were set to the left towards Storoveien and not to the right towards Grefsenveien. 
When tram 132 entered the points, it met tram 135 travelling in the opposite direction. Tram 132 hit the rear half of tram 135, causing it to derail.

The collision did not cause any personal injuries, only material damage.

The investigation will clarify the sequence of events and identify possible causal factors. Any underlying conditions that may have contributed to the incident will be mapped and analysed.
