Report on the serious incident at Oslo Airport Gardermoen Norway 31 January 2008 to Bombardier CL-600-2B19, OY-RJC, operated by Cimber Air Denmark

During take-off, immediately after lift-off, the aircraft suddenly lost lift on the right wing. The wing dropped, sending the aircraft into an uncontrolled 40-degree bank. The stall protection system activated, and the crew regained control and continued as scheduled to Copenhagen. There were no passengers onboard. This particular aircraft type has been involved in remarkable many accidents during take-off in winter conditions. The Accident Investigation Board Norway issues four safety recommendations in this report.
