Investigation of serious glider incident near Starmoen Airport in Hedmark County, Norway

Description

On Tuesday 16 April 2019 the glider was on tow out of Starmoen Airport when the canopy shattered. The pilot received minor injuries. He was able to return to Starmoen Airport and perform a normal landing.

The investigation of this accident has been delegated to the Sailplane Section of the Norwegian Air Sports Federation (NLF). The investigation report will mainly be based the NLF report.
