Description

A wind shift caused the airplane to fall from 6 - 9 ft height and it landed hard on runway 15 at Rakkestad. The aircraft bounced, and after a second bounce, the commander decided to abort the landing. He applied full power, raised the flaps to 10 ° and raised the landing gear. The airplane failed to gain altitude and sank back onto the runway. It then skidded approx. 250 m on its belly before it came to rest. The pilot and five passengers were not injured, but the aircraft was substantially damaged at the lower fuselage skin.
